Five victims in Vienna? – Abuse: Scene DJ accused as a serial offender

The suspect has been in custody for eleven weeks. The man is accused in Vienna of crimes in connection with a total of five women. The harrowing reach: rape, sexual harassment and sexual abuse of defenseless people.

On July 21, the handcuffs clicked on a young man who was well-known in the Vienna DJ scene. Since then, the ‘handsome boy’ he was seen has been in a cramped cell in prison and awaiting his criminal trial, which starts on October 17 in the ‘Landl’. Two days of negotiations are planned on the explosives case. First reports in March, arrest four months later
In March, two young women filed a police report against the DJ, prompting an investigation. One victim stated that the defendant raped her in the toilet of a well-known Viennese club.

According to the StA Vienna, he pushed her head against the wall, pressed himself against the academic and injured her arm: “She fiercely said that she did not want that, fought back and tried to push him away.” says Complaint. “My client’s joy of partying and going out was permanently spoiled,” said victim lawyer Philipp Springer.

Seizures even in your sleep?
Several women came forward and described their experiences: There was talk of unwanted kisses and intimate touching, but also of waking up naked in bed and having the feeling of having had sex. The victims say they had used drugs before. The intercourse took place while she was sleeping without her consent. Another acquaintance of the suspect also reported attacks while sleeping. The indictment includes a total of five victims, all in their mid-20s.

The verdict is scheduled for October 25
Sascha Flatz, the DJ’s lawyer, obviously sees things differently: “The trial will show that my client is innocent,” he says. If convicted, the man faces two to ten years in prison; the jury will discuss the case on October 25.
