For days, anonymous bomb threats against train stations and schools have kept authorities in several states on edge. The train station in Feldkirch had to be evacuated on Tuesday evening.
The official lockdown lasted for hours. As with previous alerts, the entire area was searched for suspicious objects or explosives.
“There is currently no train service available in Feldkirch,” said a message from ÖBB on the short message platform X. A replacement rail service has been set up for local transport between Rankweil and Frastanz. Long-distance trains waited around the block.
This was lifted again around 11 p.m. – As in all previous cases – nothing was found. The Directorate of State Security and Intelligence (DSN) is conducting further investigations.
