According to a witness, the single man from Dresden was arrested on June 28 while on “vacation” with the girl in Saxon Switzerland. The witness noticed the unequal couple and alerted the police. Authorities have only now made the case public.
The teenager from near the Saxon capital was convinced of a love affair and also took away the presumed age of the 38-year-old, according to a spokesperson for the Public Prosecution Service.
Sexual abuse in 24 cases
According to ‘Bild’, the 13-year-old was an orphan and grew up with her grandmother. The perpetrator could have taken advantage of this. The 38-year-old sexually abused the girl in 24 cases between the end of March and June 2024, the Public Prosecution Service said.
Pedophile already convicted
The man, who worked as an assistant cook in a nursing home, has a criminal record and is currently in custody. He denies the accusations. The Dresden Regional Court will decide whether to admit the charges and set a trial date. It was not reported how the girl is doing and where she is currently.
