Israel has confirmed that the prime minister and his family were not in the house at the time of the attack. Meanwhile, at least 33 people have been killed and 70 injured in an Israeli attack on the Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza.
Israel on Saturday denounced a drone strike in the city of Caesarea that targeted Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s private home.
Initial investigations indicate the drone is owned by the Lebanese Shiite militia Hezbollah. Israel has identified three drones entering Israeli territory from Lebanon. Two of them were intercepted and a third hit the Caesarea area, the Israeli military said.
The Prime Minister and his wife were not at their home at the time of the attack, nor were any members of his family present. So there were no casualties in the incident, the prime minister’s office said.
Meanwhile, at least 33 people were killed and around 70 injured this Saturday in an Israeli attack on the Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza.
However, the death toll could rise to around 50 as many residents were trapped under the rubble, according to local media.
Two more people have been killed in Lebanon in another Israeli drone attack on a car in the town of Jounieh, north of Beirut.
