The Lehendakari made these statements during his speech at the Metafuturo Forum organized by Atresmedia at the Ateneo de Madrid, where he highlighted the “credited career” of Sidenor President José Antonio Jainaga.

After recalling that Talgo has hundreds of employees in Euskadi, in addition to an important chain of Basque suppliers and more than 4,000 million “in turnover”, Pradales has indicated that the Basque government is “interested in promoting the creation of this industrial company , which has a future industrial plan” and has stated that they are also “interested in a powerful industrial partner, an industrial entrepreneur who offers guarantees.”

Likewise, the Lehendakari within Europe has demanded greater weight for Euskadi. And to that end, according to Pradales, it is essential to promote Atlantic macroregion.

As for the possibility that the taxes on the financial and energy sectorshas criticized the Lehendakari that “they are not the most appropriate way to encourage the industrial development of weaving in a country.”

Regarding the refusal of the President of Madrid, Isabel Díaz Ayuso, to meet the head of the executive, Pedro Sánchez, at the Moncloa Palace, the Lehendakari has indicated that “when one has a difference of opinion, it is better to to talk about it in person.”
