A murder case in Germany is currently causing horror. After the discovery of the body of a woman (66) on Sunday, investigators now have an incredible suspicion.
As “Bild” reports, the police in Baden-Württemberg arrested a suspected Iranian (37) in a refugee shelter on Thursday. During the course of the investigation it became apparent that the victim and the man knew each other; the woman is said to have just tried to teach him the German language.
Although the exact circumstances are still completely unclear, investigators told the newspaper that it is currently most likely a robbery murder. Isabelle D.’s car was missing for days and was eventually found near the 37-year-old’s home.
Woman ‘died a violent death’
The victim lived in an apartment on the banks of the Neckar; the woman’s body was discovered in the water not far away. After the autopsy it became clear that the Public Prosecution Service was now investigating a murder case. She is said to have died a “violent death”.
According to possible witnesses to the crime, the man was eventually arrested. He has been in custody since Thursday, but remains silent about the charges.
