There are some indications of this, Interior Minister Fernando Grande-Marlaska said on Monday. Some of the people who threw stones, mud, sticks and bottles at the royal couple wore T-shirts with ultra-right symbols.
According to media reports, chats from the right-wing extremist scene called on people to travel to Paiporta to “give a reception” to socialist head of government Pedro Sánchez. The politician was part of the visit to the flood disaster area on Sunday. He was attacked with a stick and kicked in his car. “Murderer, murderer” or “Go away!” shouted the angry citizens.
Mayor: Comes special
The Spanish royal couple Felipe VI. and Letizia was pelted with mud, stones, sticks and sticks. One of Letizia’s bodyguards was bleeding from the face, the queen was crying and holding her head.
