Anna Veith, the new face of the Kästle company, sees a lot of potential in alpine skiing, but this is not being exploited. Why Formula 1 could be a role model and what could make winter sports even more attractive? The 35-year-old spoke about this with the “Krone”.
“Kron”: Marcel Hirscher is back, Lindsey Vonn soon. What do you think about a comeback?
Anna Veith: Right now I can’t imagine it. My daily life is well filled with my children and my projects. I play sports, but it’s far from what it takes to be a top athlete. I would never say never though. I find the wildcard topic extremely exciting because the opportunity is suddenly there. That was great for the Alpine Ski product.
