A more than questionable incident is said to have occurred in the S1 near Handelskai on Saturday afternoon. The video of an angry passenger appeared on the “Dog Search Help Austria” page on Facebook. The recordings apparently show an elderly woman abusing her dogs.
The images show, among other things, how the woman had wrapped the leash around her dog’s neck and pulled him up. She also allegedly squeezed the four-legged friend’s face and hit him. Meanwhile, another of the lady’s dogs was stuck motionless in a shopping cart. Heated verbal arguments reportedly broke out between the passengers and the older woman on the S-Bahn.
Facebook users recognized animal abuser
As animal rights groups wondered who the woman was, Facebook users came forward claiming to have recognized her. The message was then immediately deleted – a report is now being filed against the alleged animal abuser and the recordings are being forwarded to the police. Apparently the Viennese police have not yet received any reports about the incident on the S-Bahn…
