Some students recently experienced a very special introductory lecture at the Vienna Juridicum. On the screen, participants were given an unwanted insight into the professor’s private video collection. He forgot to close a folder with offensive videos.
One afternoon on a cold autumn day, students from the Vienna Juridicum work through the boring material of the first semester in an exercise. But after an accident, the professor certainly managed to attract the attention of his young audience: when he shared his screen on the screen, several offensive images appeared.
The leader of the exercise probably should have closed the folder with the porn videos. The scene brought a few mischievous smiles from the students. The professor did not respond.
Students see ‘tongue in cheek’ incident
It’s no surprise that the law professor’s whoops quickly spread. However, most people see this as a human error, and the students in the college also looked at the situation with a wink. A student writes online: “This explains why so few professors stream their lectures. Too risky…” The students on the exercise pulled out a few more cell phones.
The professor sometimes did not respond to a ‘Krone’ request.
