A Viennese tax adviser had psychological problems due to his impending divorce and shook it off. And that when you just wanted to help him.
The tall, moderately successful tax consultant with his own office sits in front of a judge in the Vienna court, folded in a pile of misery. He is more than ashamed of the incident where he attacked and injured lawyer Manfred Arbacher-Stöger – who only wanted to help him!
Whole bottle of tranquilizers
The lawyer was walking the dog in the evening when he saw the crumpled Tesla standing on the lamppost, the driver presumably unconscious. He was actually completely gone – because in the meantime he had been given Psychopax drops to calm “a state of emergency”. That is, almost a bottle!
Approaching divorce as a reason
The state of emergency: The suspect had made an appointment with the still wife before the divorce date and was probably hoping for reconciliation. But she had a new one a long time ago—whom she’d celebrated Christmas with: “In my house. With my child (ren. That touched me.”
Damage paid immediately
Not only lawyer Arbacher was punched, but also police officers who had called the rescue service: “The idea of ending up in the psychiatric ward made me panic.”
He is appealing the verdict (5 months for a criminal offense in a state of complete intoxication) out of concern for professional consequences.
