The ministry also said the British Navy accompanied a Russian military ship in the English Channel this week. “Our adversaries should have no doubt about our unwavering determination and our formidable ability to keep Britain safe,” Defense Secretary Luke Pollard said.
The number of incidents involving Russian and Western aircraft has increased in recent months against the backdrop of the war in Ukraine. For example, aircraft from the German Air Force are often deployed in similar incidents over the Baltic Sea.
