“There are currently many myths circulating about wind energy in Carinthia. 600 to 1000 wind turbines are purely fantasy figures,” emphasizes Vice President Martin Gruber when presenting the new Carinthian plan for wind energy regulation. “Our Carinthian Road combines clean energy and the protection of nature. In winter we are an importer of dirty electricity. Without wind energy, the energy transition simply won’t work.” But what exactly does that mean?
