Strike, today and tomorrow, November 28 and 29, 2024, in road passenger transport

The strikes were called by CC.OO and CGT, after UGT withdrew after reaching an agreement with employers. The Basque government has set a minimum offer of 30%, while in Navarra it is 40%, and even 60% during peak hours.

Drivers of buses Urban, interurban and state services will continue this Thursday and Friday, November 28 and 29, calling for the strike throughout the Spanish state to demand early retirement in the sector, with minimum services of between 30 and 40% in Hego Euskal Herria.

This is the second day of a total of seven days, after October 28. It was also announced for November 11 last year, but was shelved due to the effects of DANA.

On this occasion it is supported by direct current. OO. (over 40% representation in the state) and CBTafter UGT and SLT have withdrawn of the call after signing a commitment with the employers’ organizations Confebús, Anetra and Atuc to apply for early retirement from the administrations as soon as a royal decree comes into force.

For CC. OO., this commitment is not sufficient, as the date is linked to the approval of that Royal Decree, scheduled for February, but it could also be later.

After these two strike days, more strike days will be called December 5, 9 and 23with an extension indefinite from this latter date if negotiations do not go well.

Minimal services in Hego Euskal Herria

He Basque government In October it set a minimum supply of 30%, which will affect Bizkaibus, Euskotren, Lurraldebus, PESA, Bilbobus, Dbus and Tuvisa, among others.

For its part, the Government of Navarre It represents 40% of regular intercity transport services on weekdays, 30% on Saturdays and 20% on public holidays (tomorrow is a public holiday in Pamplona). However, during peak hours the minimum supply is 60%. As regards regular transport for special use, such as school transport and transport for people with disabilities, all journeys between home and school or vocational centers will be insured.
