Strongest woman in the world – ‘He is not ashamed to be seen with me’

Date:

She is an emergency doctor, mother and also the strongest woman in the world. Anna Karrila recently broke the men’s bench press world record. The Finn achieved a new record with 153.1 kilograms and 14 repetitions! During her ‘home holiday’ in Linz, the 36-year-old spoke about boys who only wanted sex and why she married her Alex after just six weeks.

People stare, turn away. Anna Karrila is currently lifting weights and doesn’t seem to notice the looks at John Harris in the Donaupark in Linz. Or she’s just hiding them now. Because with her bright orange hair and her figure, the Finn is definitely an eye-catcher. Karrila is the strongest woman in the world and does not want to lose any of her fitness during her “home holiday” in Linz. “I started going to the gym when I was 13 years old. When I was 18, I started bodybuilding and also competed in body fitness. But at a certain point I didn’t want to diet anymore and I ended up doing powerlifting. This is bench press, deadlift and squat. And then I won my first competition without training. That same year, at the age of 23, I became world champion for the first time. And after all, there are 200,000 people in this category worldwide who do that,” Anna laughs visibly proudly.
