The majority of the positions (almost 1,900) will be for Osakidetza and Education (more than 1,000). The number of places for the Ertzaintza exceeds 500, while about 400 places will be reserved for General Administration. The calls will be made over the next three years.
The Basque government approved a public employment offer in the government council on Tuesday (OPE) out of a total of 3949 places. These positions will be offered through public calls, which will be conducted during the next three yearsuntil 2027.
Almost half of the places offered (1896) correspond to this Osakidetzawhile the other thickness (1046) is for Education.
Furthermore, the Ertzaintza will receive 525 new places for agents and 420 for the General Administration and its autonomous organizations. 23 positions will fall under the Safety Administration. The remainder will be divided between EJIE, the Basque Government Computer Society (25) and the Euskadi Symphony Orchestra (8). Euskamet (4) and the public rental promotion company Visesa (2).
The spokesperson of the Basque government, María Ubarretxena, emphasized that the aim is to “promote stable employment in government to continue guaranteeing quality public services, reducing structural interim employment to below 8% and promoting generational change in the Basque government.”
The Basque government will finalize the final allocation of places in the region this year consolidation process of approximately 3400 seats.
