The accounts amount to a total amount of 6,431.3 million euros, which represents an increase of 1.2% compared to 2024. EH Bildu, PSN, Geroa Bai and Contigo-Zurekin have assessed the agreement between the different formations and the stability situation that Navarre is experiencing.
The plenary meeting of Parliament of Navarre has met forecasts and approved approval Foral community budgets for 2025the sixth time in a row that the government of María Chivite has completed thanks to the agreement reached with EH Bildu.
With the supports of PSN, Geroa Bai and Contigo-Zurekin (parties that are part of the government) and the agreed abstention of EH Bildu, Navarra will have a budget of 6431.3 million. UPN, PP and Vox voted in return for.
Of the total amount, 5986.6 million corresponds to non-financial expenditure (departments of the Government of Navarre, the Parliament of Navarre and the Council of Navarre) and the remainder, 444.7 million, to financial expenditure (debt repayment and interest payments). The non-financial expenditure ceiling represents an increase of 2.6% compared to the 2024 Budget, which in absolute terms means a difference of 150.7 million euros.
In the past week, and after the rejection of the changes in the whole presented by UPN, PP and Vox, the debate on the more than 800 partial amendments in the parliamentary committee approved 375 (all from PSN, EH Bildu, Geroa Bai or Contigo-Zurekin), representing changes in the budget for 21.4 million.
In their interventions, the spokespersons of UPN, PPN and Vox launched strongly reviews towards President María Chivite, whom they have accused, among other things, of clearly ‘abandoning’ her responsibilities with the ‘sole’ aim of ‘staying in power’ and ‘dependence on EH Bildu’.
Meanwhile, EH Bildu, PSN, Geroa Bai and Contigo-Zurekin assessed the agreement between the different groups and highlighted the situation of stability that Navarre is alive.
