Complete madness on the Tauern Autobahn! A 45-year-old truck driver, who had been driving a tractor-trailer almost continuously for twenty days, was arrested by Salzburg police on Saturday on the Tauernautobahn (A10) near Kuchl.
The patrol noticed the tractor-trailer because the driver kept straying into the emergency lane. After a negative alcohol test, the officers looked at the driving and rest times and discovered the massive violation. The truck was also overloaded by more than 1.3 tons, the police reported.
