HOFER and its supplier ASCE – ALDI SÜD Group Supply Chain Entity GmbH are recalling the items “CROFTON special cutlery set 16-piece” and “CROFTON cutlery set 24-piece” due to a possible risk of injury due to “sharp edges”.
The products “CROFTON special cutlery 16-piece” and “CROFTON cutlery set 24-piece” from the supplier ASCE – ALDI SÜD Group Supply Chain Entity GmbH are used for reasons of consumer precaution by the supplier ASCE – ALDI SÜD Group Supply Chain Entity GmbH and HOFER KG recalled.
In individual cases there is a risk that cutlery items have sharp edges, which can lead to injuries when used. For this reason the product should not be used further.
Sales stopped, customers get money back
The products were available from December 9, 2024 at all HOFER KG branches in Austria. Sales of the product were immediately stopped. The products can be returned at all HOFER branches. Customers will receive a refund even without proof of purchase.
