Police in Florida have arrested a woman who allegedly stabbed a pregnant customer more than a dozen times over insufficient tips.
According to the police report, Brianna Alvelo was hired by Marco’s Pizzeria to deliver two $33 pizzas to the nearby Riviera Motel in Florida at 10 p.m.
Pregnant Melinda Irizarry ordered the meal to celebrate her daughter’s fifth birthday. She handed the pizza delivery girl a $50 bill. “She then just walked away with it. But because I didn’t want to tip her that much, I demanded she give me change!” the mother said.
According to police, the delivery person didn’t have that, so Irizarry and Brooks collected a total of $35 in smaller bills and coins. Irizarry: “She just rolled her eyes and then left without saying a word.”
Delivery lady showed up again 90 minutes later
90 minutes later, the delivery man appeared masked with a man and made his way to the motel room. Brianna Alvelo stabbed her mother fourteen times.
The intruders then fled and Irizarry was taken to the emergency room – she survived.
Identified by security camera
Investigators were able to identify Alvelo through a security camera in the motel parking lot because she didn’t put her face mask on until she got out – charges!
