We had to hurry, because it was minus five degrees there at night. However, the search had to be stopped at 4 a.m. without results. There was no trace of the missing person, the city area and surrounding forest areas were searched.
According to police information, the man is in top physical shape and goes for walks in the woods twice a day, but suffers from dementia. He was reported missing by assisted living staff shortly after 10 p.m. The search for the senior will continue on Saturday morning.
