Further unrest in the Hotter conflict between the communities of Wiesen and Bad Sauerbrunn. Now unknown thieves have stolen one of Wiesen’s new city signs.
The increasingly heated dispute between Wiesen and Bad Sauerbrunn continues to cause unrest in both cities. Just a few weeks ago, Wiesen installed additional place name signs “Wiesen Nord” and “Wiesen Keltenberg”.
Signposts smeared
However, it did not take long before unknown people – as reported – smeared three city signs with paint, stuck them on them and labeled them with the inscription “Bad Sauerbrunn Süd”. A report has been filed.
“Radical forces”
But now the hooligans struck again. Around New Year’s Eve, a city sign with the inscription “Wiesen Nord” was apparently forcibly torn from its anchorage and carried away. This incident was also reported at the Neudörfl police station. There is no trace of the thieves. “In both cases, radical forces will probably be at work,” says Wiesen’s mayor Matthias Weghofer angrily.
