A seven-year-old was thrown from a car in a tragic traffic accident on the B48 in the municipality of Weinviertel in Hauskirchen in Lower Austria on Monday evening. The fact that the mother (42), who was driving the car, had a blood alcohol level of 1.8 caused a head shake.
According to the police, the car left the road and came to a stop against a slope. When the car overturned, the seven-year-old was thrown from the car. Shortly afterwards, the emergency services were alerted.
Helicopter to the hospital
They transported the injured boy with the “Christophorus 9” to the Donaustadt clinic in Vienna. The mother and daughter were taken to the Mistelbach State Clinic by the ambulance service.
