Christoph Götzendorfer answered the most important question of 2020 correctly. On the 25th anniversary of the million-dollar show, the “Krone” spoke with the Upper Austrian. The father-of-two revealed the extent to which the sudden rain of millions changed the lives of him and his family.
“Money doesn’t make you happy, but it does make life a lot easier” – Christoph Götzendorfer remains pragmatic and down to earth, some four years after his “run through” the million-dollar show. The 40-year-old Esternberger (Schärding district) knew the most important answer in Armin Assinger’s TV studio – namely that the name of the “Waldorf school” goes back to a cigarette factory – and took home the million euros. That was 2020.
