A bull managed to escape in Tyrol on Tuesday afternoon. He ran along the railway lines in Brixlegg (Kufstein district) and ensured that train traffic had to be restricted. A hunter eventually had to shoot the animal.
At around 12.30 pm there was great excitement in the vicinity of the train station in Brixlegg. “We were informed that an escaped bull was hanging around there,” Kramsach police said. Train traffic was immediately blocked in the said area.
Strolled around on the street
The bull was eventually discovered by a police patrol in the area of Tiroler Straße B 171 in Radfeld. “Because the animal could not be calmed, it was shot by a hunter,” the director said.
No one was hurt
Meanwhile, traffic on both sides was stopped by two police patrols. No one was injured. Train traffic was also reopened.
