An industrial accident in Weißkirchen, Upper Styria, ended tragically: A 59-year-old was thrown from his driver’s cab while loading wood and died in hospital on Friday from his serious injuries.
The tragic accident happened on Thursday morning: the 59-year-old Styrian was unloading logs at a sawmill in Weißkirchen when one of the hydraulic supports of his truck suddenly broke down.
Thrown out of the driver’s cab
The man was thrown from the cabin of the crane and landed on the ground. He was seriously injured and was taken to the LKH Judenburg by the Red Cross. Unfortunately, the doctors there fought in vain for his life and the 59-year-old died on Friday morning.
