In the center of Berlin, a money transporter was attacked by several unknown perpetrators on Wednesday morning. Two money messengers and two bank employees were injured in the robbery.

Police say the injured bank employees are two 57-year-old women. A 39-year-old guard and a 49-year-old guard were also injured. The police has set up an information portal for photos and videos on the internet.
Spectacular robberies in Berlin
There have been a number of robberies on money transporters in Berlin in recent years. In February, strangers struck in front of a supermarket in the Neukölln district and stole money. A robbery of a cash transporter in front of a bank branch on Berlin’s Kurfürstendamm in 2021 was spectacular: the perpetrators wore orange garbage collectors’ clothing and stole almost 650,000 euros.
