A missing person probably owes his life to the Carinthian police. Because the police helicopter team supported its colleagues in Styria on Saturday evening around 11 p.m. In the Spengerkogel area near Carinthia, officers searched for the missing person with a thermal imaging camera.
“Due to the obvious hypothermia, the team decided to land, immediately took the person into the helicopter and handed him over to the emergency services in the valley,” the police officers said, adding: “At minus 8 degrees, urgent help was needed . necessary.”
