Spectacular accident over the weekend in Feldbach, Styria. A motorist missed a roundabout and drove straight through the decorative fountain installed there.
A woman from southeastern Styria was driving her car around 3am and may have “missed” a roundabout and a fountain, she told police. She just drove straight through the roundabout and through the fountain – not even the base of the fountain could stop her car.
Good luck in case of bad luck
The woman herself escaped in horror. However, your vehicle is a total loss and the engine block has been torn out. The Feldbach fire brigade, with four vehicles and twelve men, spent an hour and a half recovering the accident vehicle and capturing the leaked assets.
Not an isolated case
This is not the first time that an accident has occurred at the roundabout. The local fountain is colloquially known as the ‘washing plant’ because of its appearance, but it does not convey water in the winter months.
