It was like a bolt from the blue. The tragedy had no signs, it was unforeseeable for everyone. “We couldn’t even say goodbye,” sobs widow Sibylle F. from Marchtrenk, who constantly feels like crying: “I can’t get the terrible images out of my head.”
Daughter Sophie (12) and the twins Leonie and Tobias (9) are also in shock and must be taken care of by the crisis intervention team. They find it hard to accept that their father will never come back. “The situation is difficult to bear, the pain is enormous,” said Sibylle (44), who was a happy couple with Alexander for 21 years. “It was true love and he was my heart man. We had the perfect relationship.”
Died after greeting daughter Leni
Master plumber Alexander F. entered the house from the garage on June 14 shortly after 4 p.m. Earlier, he had texted his boss. “Hello Leni-Maus,” he greeted daughter Leonie. Then he went into the kitchen, sat down — and passed out in front of the nine-year-old. Lady Sybille came to the aid of the 44-year-old, immediately began CPR and alerted the emergency services. Sophie has fetched a neighbor. The woman, who weighs 50 kilograms, tried with all her might to resuscitate Alexander – unfortunately without success. The neighbor and the rescuers were also unable to help him. “It took almost an hour,” the widow recalls.
Major financial concerns
The 44-year-old, who lost his mother at the age of nine, leaves behind a family that has both human suffering and financial problems. “According to the bank, the home loan cannot be suspended and we will not have access to the account for a long time due to the probate procedure,” says Sibylle. The funeral is on Friday – and daughter Sophie is now complaining of heartbreak: “I am absolutely devastated.”
