In Austria, 10,424 new corona infections have been reported in the past 24 hours (from 9.30 am on Friday). Five other people infected with the virus died. In the normal wards of the hospitals, the occupancy rate increased by eight places (821 in total), the number of patients in the intensive care units also increased by eight (in total 49 patients).
So far there are 4,438,883 positive test results in Austria. As of today (July 1, 9.30am), 18,792 people across Austria have died as a result of the coronavirus and 4,314,940 have recovered. At the moment, 870 people have been hospitalized because of the corona virus. Of these, 49 are treated in intensive care.
