The Gleisdorf and Sulz fire brigades in Styria had to use a difficult use of contaminating substances: a minibus had fallen in the Raab, oil librarys had to be built.
The accident took place in the night of Thursday in Sulz near Gleisdorf (Weiz District). For an unknown reason, the steering wheel of a small bus lost control of his vehicle, came from the road and fell directly next to a bridge to the Raab. There he got stuck in the water.
Driver climbed from cars himself
The driver was unharmed and could free himself from the vehicle. The Sulz Volunteer Fire Brigade took over the storage room with a towing company, which lasted until the afternoon.
At the same time, the FF Gleisdorf chemical alarm service built various oil bars to minimize dangers for the environment and to bind equipment. A silver from the State Fire Brigade Association was also requested. The extensive assignment was only over at 7.30 p.m.
