The wreck of an airplane, missing in the US state of Alaska with ten people on board, is located. Three dead were found in the machine, the coast guard said on X on Friday (local time) on X. The other seven victims of the accident could not yet be discovered in the wreck.
“It is believed that the remaining seven people are on the plane, but are currently not available because of the state of the plane,” said it. The search is over. The machine is approximately 55 kilometers southeast of the city of Nome.
According to the police and fire brigade, the aircraft was on its way from Unala trail to Nome on Thursday, about 250 kilometers away, when it disappeared from the radar off the coast. There were nine passengers and the pilot on board the Cessna Caravan. Nothing was known about the identity of the occupants.
Difficult search
The search had taken place on the ground and from the air. After the authorities, the coastguard was involved in an airplane. A military aircraft also served. The search was difficult due to bad weather.
In a few days ago, the United States had only shoved two short gaps. On January 29, a passenger machine from American Airlines collided with a military helicopter in the capital Washington. The 64 people on board the plane and the three passengers of the helicopter were killed.
Two days later, a jet for medical transport crashed in the middle of a busy area in Philadelphia. All six people died on board, another person was killed on the floor and much more injured.
