US “Mafia Training” – Police Officer Killed While Training Colleagues

Date:

A Los Angeles Police Department officer was killed by his own colleagues during a training session designed to simulate a crowd. The 32-year-old was beaten until he died. That’s according to a wrongful death lawsuit filed by the late Houston Tipping’s mother.

The 32-year-old died on May 29, just three days after an on-the-job accident that happened at the Los Angeles Police Academy. As the New York Post reports, Tipping and other police officers gave a training session in which the deceased played a bicycle instructor fighting another police officer.

According to the official police version, Tipping fell to the ground and suffered a catastrophic spinal cord injury.

But it turned out that the 32-year-old had been “punched repeatedly on the head until he bled”. He also sustained multiple neck fractures. In the past, injuries occurred during exercise, making training doubtful even before the most recent death, according to Tipping’s mother’s lawsuit.

Los Angeles Police Department declined to comment on the tragedy at the Elysian Park Academy. It was only indicated that the incident would be investigated to see if the training needed to be adjusted. In addition, there is now criticism that no protective equipment is worn during the exercises and that the area is not secured with mats.
