Russian army destroys a refinery in Ukraine’s Odessa region

Ukrainian authorities have confirmed no casualties, although the attacks hit “critical infrastructure targets”.

The Russian army has a oil refinery in the Odessa region which is said to be supplied the Ukrainian troops in Mikolaiv, as reported by the Russian Defense Ministry in the morning section.

“This morning, a refinery and three fuel depots in the region of the city of Odessa, which supplied fuel to Ukrainian troops in the direction of Mikolaiv, were destroyed with high-precision sea and land missiles,” the entity’s spokesman said. Igor Konashenkov.

The attack has been confirmed by Ukrainian authorities, according to which: there were no casualties

“The attacks have hit critical infrastructure targets,” said Vladislav Nazárov, an officer with the Ukrainian Army’s Southern Command.

For its part, the Russian Defense Spokesperson added that the anti-aircraft defenses of the Russian Air Force shot down two Ukrainian drones in Kudriáshkova (Lugansk region) and Shurovka (Kharkov region), in eastern Ukraine.

Russian forces maintain air pressure on the Ukrainian army and have destroyed 51 military aerial targets: four command posts, two Osa-AKM anti-aircraft missile systems, four arsenals and 32 fortified posts.

According to Konashenkov, since the beginning of the so-called “special military operation” in Ukraine, the Russian army has destroyed 125 aircraft and 88 helicopters, 383 drones, 221 anti-aircraft missile systems, 1,903 tanks and armored vehicles, 805 artillery pieces and mortars, in addition to 1,781 military vehicles.
