The accident entered into the East Styrian Retteng (Weiz District) on Monday at 3.30 pm: a 37-year-old Oststeirer wanted to cut a bloch of a wooden trunk on the street. The piece of wood was rolling and squeezed the man’s right foot. He shouted desperately for help.
His 42-year-old colleague of the work (also from East Styria) immediately offered first aid. The Styrian suffered a serious foot injury and had to be flown to the LKH Oberwart with the rescue helicopter.
