In Feldkirch (Vorarlberg) a terrible bloody crime took place in the early hours of Sunday morning. An 85-year-old was so badly injured with a knife in his apartment that he died shortly afterwards. The police arrested the suspect’s son (30) at the scene.
Early Sunday morning, between 2 a.m. and 3 a.m., the 85-year-old man in need of care was attacked with a knife in his apartment in Feldkirch and was seriously injured by several knife wounds. He died a short time later.
The victim’s 30-year-old son was arrested at the crime scene on strong grounds of suspicion. According to the police, the background to the tragedy is still completely unclear and is becoming the subject of an ongoing investigation by the State Criminal Investigation Department in Vorarlberg.
The arrested suspect has not yet been questioned due to his poor mental health.
