On Thursday afternoon around 4.30 pm a 51 -year -old ski holiday from Canada parked his car, which he had parked near the Mellau Mountain Railway in the Bregenzerwald. After the day of skiing, he wanted to get his wife and two children directly in the car at the Valley Station.

Accident during parking
For this goal he wanted to park the car again. The parking process failed. Because the brakes suddenly failed and the car directly in the power bed of the Dürrenbach to the parking lot over the edge of the site rolled down in a steep slope.
