Parrot stored – fire brigade in feathered use at exalted height

Date:

Parrot “Picki” caused excitement in Villach (Carinthia). The main fire brigade was able to hand over the fluttering Uitbijter to the happy owner after an hour and a half.

The most important fire station Villach made a very special effort on Tuesday evening. Around 5:30 pm the Florianis were warned about a animal rescue of the slightly different species. In a residential area near the Drau in the Villach district of Manhattan, the parrot “Picki” had gone on an adventure and had escaped the owner.

First attempt to capture “picki”
The feathered Uitbijter had made it comfortable on a tree on a dizzying 15 meter height. A first attempt to save the colorful bird with the air ladder failed.

Probably afraid of the excited calls of other birds, the brave parrot decided to change his position and fluttered to the nearby high -all -all buildings. There he finally found a new “home” on a windowsill on the third floor.

With Kescher and Aerial Ladder, the agile from Biter was caught
But the fire brigade could not be discouraged! With United Forces, a Kescher and the proven turntable ladder, the firefighters succeeded in taming the agile from Bijter together with the owner involved. “In the end we were finally able to catch the parrot again, so that ‘Picki’ could be safely transferred to the happy owner,” reports operations manager Julian Tronegger of the most important fire station Villach.

The most important fire station was used for approximately 1.5 hours with two vehicles and five men to save the feathered family member. A highlight for the fire brigade and its tireless efforts – not only for people, but also for our feathered friends!
