After heavy rainfall and massive floods in southern Spain, it is now a sad certainty: at least one person was killed. In the municipality of Constantina, northeast of Seville, emergency services found a body in the vicinity of a destroyed vehicle in the way.

More than 30 roads had to be closed, including a part of 32 kilometers from the important Sevilla-Cádiz motorway. Countless schools also remained closed.
The location remains tense: Emergency services evacuated by Wednesday morning around 370 houses in the areas near the flooded rivers. Train traffic is interrupted in many places, countless streets are impassable.
Accidents and chaos in Murcia
The sensitive rains also led to dangerous situations in the Murcia region. A coach occupied with passengers fell on the A7, various occupants were injured. In Madrid, however, the environment -Minister Carlos Novillo speaks about a “certain normality”, although the authorities continue to follow the levels of the Guadarrama River.
Meteorologists warn: the next storm is coming!
While people in the affected areas are still fighting with the consequences of the current storms, the following catastrophe is already threatening. For Thursday, meteorologists expect the arrival of “Martinho”, the thirteenth great storm of this season. He could also become tighter the location with heavy rainfall and violent wind.
