They were rather apocalyptic photos that offered the 205 emergency services on Thursday evening: shortly after 6.30 pm the alarm came in. Brand broke out at the location of a camper center in the Petersdorf district of the municipality of St. Maryin near Graz. Shortly after the emergency services arrived, flue gas inflammation with enormous heat development, since the Feldbach Fire Brigade Association (in total stones from four districts was used), became announced. This led to a meadow fire and so the fire could spread to various campers parked in the parking lot.
Despite all the extinguishing measures, the fire also spread to an adult residential building. Fortunately, another house can be protected. To deliver the large amounts of water, the extinguishing water was brought to the scene with tank fire vehicles and pumps. Different gas bottles had to be restored from the danger area.
Three firefighters were injured in the deployment, two of them had to be taken to the LKH Feldbach. The cause of the fire is currently unknown and the subject of police investigation. A fire brigade fire brigade stayed on the spot all night.
