A brutal act shakes the popular resort of Tulum on the Mexican Caribbean coast: the security leader of the city was shot. The attackers opened fire on their victim on motorcycles.
IJosé Roberto Rodríguez was accompanied by his bodyguard when he was attacked, as the Ministry of Security of the state of Quintana announced. One of the alleged perpetrators was killed at the shootout. According to media reports, Rodríguez was hit by six shots and collapsed at his injuries in the hospital.
