For more than two years, the Carinthian researchers, traces and evidence have tried to secure – without success. The investigation of the Klagenfurt Public Officor and crime will be a cold matter.
On February 8, 2023, a student made the cruel discovery on the way to school. Gertrude K. was dead in front of the corpse room in the small Sub -Carinthian city of Edling. And although the researchers focused on three men from the 62-year-old environment, the traces were repeatedly in the sand.
Short arrest of the son
The son of the Dead Pensioner was also part of the possible circle of perpetrators. But after a short arrest, the 32-year-old was released from detention because there was no valid evidence of a motive for a crime.
Despite further research by the officials, no perpetrator could be found. “There is no further evidence, so the investigation has been hired,” confirms the public prosecutor Markus Kitz to the “Krone”. And this increases the mysterious murder case to the files until there might be new evidence and the investigation is being resumed, because “murder never expected,” said the public prosecutor.
