There doesn’t even seem to be a clear strategy for the Democrats about how to get Trump politics. Three examples of how the party responds to Trump and his policy:

A left grass root movement
At 83 Bernie Sanders is older than the shot ex-president Joe Biden. But the left -wing senator, who fought in vain for the presidential candidature of the Democrats in 2016 and 2020, is a fixed point in American politics. He is good network and has loyal followers. But he probably doesn’t want to go to the White House anymore.

The 35-year-old is a prominent representative of the left wing of the Democrats. She became known in 2018 when she defeated an established Democrat in the primers in New York.

It is open whether Ocasio-Cortez has really chosen the presidential candidacy of its party and certainly too early for you to bind yourself. But in recent days she has performed several times with Sanders, and countless people came. Both advertise for a grass root movement against Trump – ie a political or social movement that comes from the basis of the population.

The pre -busters
The Democratic Party has no obvious leader behind which everyone flows. But there are some who dare to cover, especially the Governor of California Gavin Newsom. Of the 57-year-old it is long said that he is looking at the White House. When the debate broke out last summer that Biden had to withdraw his candidacy, his name always fell as a potential successor. As is known, the choice at that time fell on Biden’s Vice Kamala Harris.

Now newsoma, which is actually a flagship liberal, is an interesting way. In his new podcast, Newsom said he thinks it is unfair when transvrouws compete in women’s sports. He broke with a position of the Democrats. The selection of guests in his podcast is also remarkable. Among them is the ultra -right publicist Steve Bannon. Newson talked to him in a relaxed tone. He had also repeated Bannon the lie through fraud in the 2020 presidential election, in which Trump lost to Biden.

The Democrats are partly elitist and are withdrawn to the United States. They are accused of dealing with identity policy too much and not seriously taking care of employees. The Strategy of Newsom should be to combat this criticism and to regain voter groups with more conservative positions. There are different opinions in the party or a kind of populism from the left or a center with a focus on traditional values ​​is needed to get elections.

In the Chamber there was the question of whether the Democrats support the financial law of the Republicans of Trump or accept a standstill by government transactions, ie a closure to express their protest. There were some good pro- and counter -arguments for the party for both options. But instead of agreeing and defending, there was a strategic super-gau.

While the Democrats in the House of Representatives were almost closed against the household, Chuck Schumer, the minority leader of the Democrats in the Senate, made a U -Turn. He ensured that the budget passed the parliamentary Chamber with the necessary voices from his party. The reason: the price is too high, is not worth it here.
