In the night of Saturday in Gamlitz (Styria), a Buschenscank fell in full fire. People and animals were not injured. The cause of the fire has been unclear so far.
Around 1:15 pm the emergency services in the Leibnitz district were warned from Friday to Saturday. When it arrived, the entire Buschenscank, including the farm building, was on fire. At that time, the roof structure almost burned to the fan.
A total of eleven fire brigades – Gamlitz, Arnfels, Ehrenhausen, Gersdorf Ad Mur, Racht, Spielfeld, Strass, Untergalla, Vogau, Wagna, Holcim, Retznei – were deployed with 21 vehicles and 114 forces. The still running extinguishing work is expected to continue until afternoon.
No injuries
Fortunately, there was no injuries in the incident. The Busescharnk building burned down to the end and caused enormous damage to property. The cause of the fire is the subject of ongoing investigations.
