Tapia will meet those responsible for Siemens Energy this Friday during his official trip to Germany

The Minister of Economic Development, Sustainability and the Environment, Arantxa Tapiawill meet with the director of next Friday Siemens Energy Christian Bruchowithin the agenda he develops on his official trip to Germany in which he maintains contacts with various German firms such as Mercedes, Bayer or Trumpf.

Tapia, who started his official trip to Germany this week, took part this Wednesday with the Lehendakari, Inigo Urkulluon the working day completed by the Basque delegation in stuttgart (Germany) with those responsible for the Mercedes-Benz van division.

The person responsible for Economic Development, Sustainability and Environment continues with the official agenda and will meet Friday with the person responsible for the takeover bid for Siemens Energy, a company that has launched a takeover bid for all of Siemens Gamesa. Tapia will meet with the company’s CEO and with the vice president of communications, Robin Zimmerman

The minister is planning a meeting the day before with the Trumpf Group, a German family business that produces industrial machines and is located in Ditzingen, near Stuttgart. It is one of the world’s largest suppliers of machine tools and laser equipment and in March last year the German group acquired the Basque company Lantek. During this visit, Lantek’s CEO, Alberto Lopez de Binasprewill join the institutional delegation.

In addition to the meeting with Siemens Energy, on Friday 8 July, the agenda includes a meeting with Bayer Pharma, the business group with more than 150 years of history focused on health and also agriculture.
