Despite wars, inflation and psychological stress, young adults in Austria are surprisingly positive: 86 percent of 16 to 25 -year -olds are satisfied according to an Ö3 study. The majority wants to work completely, refuses rolling – and wants security, meaning and cohesion.
Despite crises and increasing uncertainty, 86 percent of 16 to 25 -year -olds are satisfied with their lives. With your training or work it is 78 percent. For almost two -thirds (63 percent), however, the curriculum at school is too full and strange for the world. 72 percent want to get married or a registered partnership, dating apps use 16 percent in the Genz. For two -thirds of all respondents, children are part of a successful life. Among the young people, however, the majority of both sexes reject the explanation that healthcare work would be more for female men, it is 61 percent, in women 81 percent. From the point of view of the Genz, it should now be completely normal for fathers to go into baby leave for a year – 91 percent of young women and 76 percent of young men think this.
Wars and terror as the most important worries
The global political situation is at the top of the list of worries. 80 and 73 percent report that constant wars or terrorism are afraid. The majority (58 percent) of 16 to 25 -year -olds are in favor of upgrade. The decision between NATO and neutrality is 79 percent for neutrality. 59 percent relate to the potential of the European Union to control the challenges of our time. Affordable life is also a care of 56 percent. Climate change (55 percent) only follows behind this.
77 percent are interested in politics and political processes. Following the latest news is important for 87 percent. Exactly two -thirds feel social media as time eaters, but don’t get rid of it.
