An influencer who has shot a New Year’s wing in an apartment in Berlin has been sentenced to a conditional punishment. The man of the West Bank was guilty of material damage. In court he spoke about a “supervision”.
His client assumed that the fireworks went to heaven, said lawyer Axel Czapp. The 23-year-old influencer had placed a recording of the campaign on his Instagram account, who follow more than 310,000 people (see video above). This was called up more than six million times within a short time. After more than 36 hours it was removed but it was spread.
Many people condemned the campaign, the young man subsequently apologized into a contribution. On January 4, he was finally arrested when he wanted to leave Germany and came into custody. He was accused of serious arson and tried physical damage and material damage. He was now guilty of material damage and sentenced to a probationary sentence of six months.
Here you can see the video in which the influencer apologizes:
Owner was happy with apologies
The owner of the apartment, who witnessed as a witnessed in the process, stated that he had forgiven the 23-year-old. In the presence of various friends this asked a few hours after the incident. “I was glad he apologized,” said the 54-year-old. “It can happen to anyone.” He did not intentionally accepted it.
The judgment is not final. Because the influencer has spent three months in custody, it comes back to freedom.
