While climate activists held on to the Tangin Line, a police officer photographed oncoming traffic to be dropped off by 277 “slow drivers”. Most affected people fought in vain against the administrative fines imposed – but, as it turned out, the causa was measured with two levels.
Continued in the Posse by 277 drivers at the climate -term termination in the Vienna Tangente last May. As the “Kroon” reported, a police officer photographed oncoming traffic during the large -scale operation of medium -sized strips – and submitted one advertisement after the other because of a too slow driving.
Facebook -Call brought proof
A case went to the Vienna Administrative Court, which confirmed the punishment. Now the highlight: another affected car time reported to the “Kroon”. The Porsche driver first had a steering investigation in the postcasters, then a criminal notification of 55 euros (comment: the director from case one had to pay 70 euros). He directed his 500 hp vehicle too slowly for without compelling reason that the rest of the traffic was hindered.
The Viennese did not want to leave the accusation. Especially since he was already in a traffic jam for the place where he was photographed – which he had caused by the police officer. “I took a lawyer,” said the man who wants to stay anonymous. Together he started a Facebook call to collect dust photos from the incident day. Successful! The photos clearly document the tangent jam and also show that it would not have been possible to drive faster: the advertisement was withdrawn.
840 euros of lawyers costs instead of 55 euros punishment
It has been proven that the authority has measured two dimensions here, especially since others had to increase the penalties – a weak comfort for the Porsche Fahr. He had legal costs of 840 euros, without legal protection. “It was worth it because the inspector’s procedure is a cheek,” he says.
The cause is discussed controversially. While some cheer that “Gaffer has finally been punished”, other harsh criticism. For example, FPö transport spokesperson Christian Hafenecker: “Climate glue is touched with velvet gloves, but their victims are punished.”
