The Islamic Palestinian organization Hamas has again published a video of an Israeli hostage. Edan Alexander (21) was used as a soldier on the border with the Gaza Strip and was deported to the Hamas attack on Israel 2023.
In the video the young man says he wants to return home for the Jewish Pessach festival. Pessach started this Saturday evening and ends on the evening of April 20. Nowadays it was used to mark the start of the barley harvest.
In the video, Alexander the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu blamed that he had not released him. The time would run away from him and the other hostages that they had no hope. The admission was published by the armed arm of the Hamas, the so-called Essedin-Al-Kassam-Brigades.
Family took a position
Alexander was born in Tel Aviv, but grew up in the US state of New Jersey. After school he returned to Israel and became a soldier. He belonged to an Israeli elite infantry unit. “If you come together to commit Pessach, remember that this is not a holiday of freedom, as long as Edan and the other hostages are not at home,” his family said on Saturday.
Here you can see the video of the hostage.
Of the 59 prisoners of Hamas, only 24 men should be alive. The terrorist organization regularly publishes videos of hostages that argue for their freedom. The Israeli government speaks about psychological warfare.
In Tel Aviv, hundreds of people did the fate of hostages on Saturday during the Pessach festival. For example, they symbolically kept an empty chair at their table or posted photos of the prisoners. The so-called seder meal is reminiscent of the imprisonment of the people of Israel and his liberation of slavery.
